What is a Counterbalance Forklift?
A counterbalance forklift truck carries its load on forks at the front, with a heavy counterweight at the rear to balance it. With no legs or outriggers under the forks, it can drive straight up to a lorry, a stack or a pallet, which makes it the most widely used type of forklift for loading, unloading and general yard and warehouse work.
Our new Bobcat range runs from 1.5 tonne electric models up to 16.0 tonne diesel models. Electric forklifts are ideal for indoor use, while diesel and LPG models are better suited to outdoor work.
